This is awesome! I can’t even dribble a basketball consistently, let alone do some of these stunts, and to top it all off, making a rhythm while doing it.
I’m just trying to imagine how much of a nightmare playing street ball with the Globetrotters would be. They are already used to getting away with traveling in a (staged) formal setting and playing in a public park is all self-regulation.
The globetrotters play some amount of actual basketball too, most of the time it’s agains college teams. They usually win, but not always. the NCAA banned these games in 2004. Guess it looks bad when your best teams are getting beaten by NBA washouts who spend most of their time doing trick shots against a team paid to lose.
